Kapila and Devahuti
SourceBhagavata Purana
Vishnu is born as Kapila, the son of the sage Kardama and Devahuti. When his father leaves for the forest, his mother, tired of the endless pull of the senses, asks him to take her across. Kapila answers her over many days, and she listens, asks again, and in the end is free.
